Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact multiple disc clutch for reducing heat spots of a driven plate and securing stable operation, without increase in cost. SOLUTION: The multiple disc clutch comprises: a drive plate which is coaxially disposed in a clutch housing and on which a friction material is adhered; a driven plate disposed alternately with the drive plate; and a piston having a pressing face engaging the drive plate with the driven plate by applying an axial load. A plurality of pressing parts projecting on a driven plate side are formed on the pressing face of the piston, the pressing parts are arranged correspondingly with arrangement of spline projections formed on an outer periphery of the driven plate and unequally-spaced from each other in a circumferential direction.
