Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for driving a width reducing press apparatus for repeatedly performing the width reduction by driving a press die by means of a crank mechanism while intermittently feeding blank materials, which method can improve a production efficiency without requiring large scale modification of the apparatus, such as modification of a housing.
