METHOD FOR FACILITATING PURIFICATION OF SOIL CONTAMINATED BY HEAVY OIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for facilitating purification of soil contaminated by heavy oil being environmentally friendly, needless to say, a low cost, requiring less time and labor for cleanup, and capable of removing stigma of the contaminated soil. SOLUTION: The method for facilitating purification of soil contaminated by heavy oil comprising mixing an earthworm and a feed with the soil contaminated by heavy oil, activating/proliferating a bacterium for decomposing heavy oil in the soil contaminated by heavy oil, and decomposing heavy oil in the soil contaminated by heavy oil by the bacterium for decomposing heavy oil, wherein the feed is preferably a tea leaf, and 1 to 105 g of earthworm and 0.5 to 10 g ( dry weight) of tea leaf are mixed relative to 10 to 200 g of the soil contaminated by 1 to 14,000 ppm of heavy oil.
