LINEAR ZIPPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear zipper having down-sized and resources-saving zipper components and capable of smoothly sliding a sliding piece. SOLUTION: A recess 14 is provided for housing a fixing thread 5 to be fixed on a zipper tape 4 on the top of an upper leg part 12 of the coil-shaped or zigzag, linear zipper component 1. The zipper component 1 satisfies the following conditions: the fixed condition of H1>H3>H2 is satisfied, where in the size from the bottom of a lower leg part 13 of the component 1 to the top of the upper leg part 12, that to the side of an engagement head part 10 is H1, that to the part of the recess 14 is H2 and that to the side of a reverse part 11 is H3; the fixed condition of H4>H6>H5 is satisfied, where in the size inside a hollow part 16 from the bottom of the upper leg part 12 to the top of the lower leg part 13, that to the side of the engagement head part 10 is H4, that to the part of a projection 15 is H5 and that to the side of the reverse part 11 is H6.
