TAPING DEVICE AND OPERATION METHOD OF THE TAPING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a taping device that monitors the winding diameter, the cut the like of an insulating tape, when winding the insulating tape to a coil conductor, and automatically adjusts the tensile force of the insulating tape to a design value, when the tensile force is in excess and deficiency, and an operation method of the taping device. SOLUTION: This taping device can move in the X-axis direction, Y-axis direction, and Z-axis direction, and comprises: a taping head 14 that can rotate with the Y-axis and the Z-axis as centers; a rotating ring 27 that is rotatably assembled into the taping head 14; tape holders 31a, 31b, that are assembled in the rotating ring 27 and store the insulating tapes 13a, 13b; insulating tape tensile-force control devices 33a, 33b that adjust the magnitude and the strength of the tensile forces of the insulating tapes 13a, 13b; a means that monitors the winding diameters of the insulating tapes 13a, 13b; a means that monitors the cut of the insulating tape; and means 32a, 32b that transmit monitored information by making it unwired.
