AUTOMATIC CONSTITUTION OF DISTRIBUTED NETWORK ANALYZER FOR MONITORING DISCRIMINATED DEMULTIPLEX GROUP OF ASYNCHRONOUS TRANSFER MODE NETWORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the method of providing a user with individual IMA (Inverse Multiplexing over Asynchronous transfer mode) network information. SOLUTION: The method and device for automatically discriminating the IMA link of asynchronous transfer mode network (10) and automatically constituting (12) a distributed network analyzer (60) to monitor the discriminated demultiplex link are provided. An information is extracted selectively from cell data streams exchanged over the asynchronous transfer mode network and the IMA link of the asynchronous transfer mode network is automatically discriminated (14), then, the distributed network analyzer (60) is automatically constituted (16) to monitor the discriminated IMA link. A graphical user interface (54) for indicating the status information of automatically discriminated demultiplex link of the asynchronous transfer mode network is provided employing the distributed network analyzer (60) automatically constituted so as to monitor the discriminated demultiplex link based on the monitoring of the discriminated demultiplex link.
