REMOTE CONTROL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control device capable of reducing the load of a user by simplifying an operation for repeat reproduction and an operation for releasing the repeat reproduction. SOLUTION: The remote control device is equipped with; a key entry means 26 which issues an instruction for making the recorded information of an information recording medium to be repeatedly reproduced and also which issues an instruction for releasing the repeated reproduction by key pushing operations; and a control means 30 which makes the recorded information of the information recording medium to be reproduced according to the frequency of key pushing operations of the key entry means 26, and which releases the repeated reproduction when the key entry means 26 is pushed for a time equal to or longer than a prescribed time.
