POLYMER PARTICLE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING DISPERSION CONTAINING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering purified polymer particles from a latex of polymer particles, which method separates, recovers, and reuses a used organic solvent and efficiently recovers the purified polymer particles having stable quality. SOLUTION: The production method of purified polymer particles comprises bringing a mixture (C) obtained by mixing a latex of polymer particles (A) with an organic solvent (B) partially soluble in water into contact with water (D) to form an aggregate (F) of the polymer particles (A) containing the organic solvent (B) in a water phase (E), followed by separating the aggregate (F). The production method has the following characteristics: an organic solvent is recovered from a dispersion (G) which contains the polymer particles (A) dispersed therein and formed by adding an organic solvent (B') having an affinity with the polymer particles (A) to the aggregate (F); and the recovered organic solvent is reused as the organic solvent (B) or the organic solvent (B').
