Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body structure for an automobile allowing sharing of a dash side panel with various kinds of vehicles without reducing durability at front surface collision. SOLUTION: In the vehicle body structure for the automobile, the dash side panel 12 is joined to both ends of a dash lower panel 10 extending in a vehicle width direction and joined to a front floor 11, and a side sill inner panel 14 is joined to the dash side panel 12 and the front floor 11.
