PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily introduce the extension algorithm data responding to the compression file form of data which are not registered beforehand. SOLUTION: A CPU11 inputs bitmap image data compressed by a PC2 in arbitrary compressed file forms and discrininates the form of compressed file of the inputted bitmap image data. On the basis of the extension algorithm data corresponding to the compressed file form of a kind discriminated by a reconfigurable logic section 12, the above input bitmap image data are decompressed so that the picture may be output, based on the decompressed bitmap image data. When the corresponding extension algorithm data are not registered, the CPU11 acquires the extension algorithm data corresponding to the compressed file form of a kind discriminated by the PC2 and registers them.
