Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device capable of preventing house-breaking by providing an inexpensive crime-prevention device by utilizing an air conditioner ordinarily used in a dwelling house. SOLUTION: This control device for the air conditioner is composed of a timer control means 3 for controlling the operation of the air conditioner, an outing mode setting means 4 for setting whether a dweller is out of home or not, an outdoor fan operation control means 5 capable of controlling the operation of a blower fan of an outdoor unit from an indoor unit, and a blower fan 6 of the outdoor unit. When the outing mode setting means 4 sets that the dweller is out of home, only the blower fan 6 of the outdoor unit is operated by the outdoor fan operation control means 5 even when the operation of the air conditioner is stopped, so that an intruder assumes that the dweller stays home.
