PIPE JOINT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint capable of maintaining durability of a spring, without disengagement of engagement of a lock lever by a locking recessed part, even if the lock lever is erroneously pushed in, by regulating a moving stroke in the pushing-in direction of the lock lever. SOLUTION: This pipe joint 1 locks a pushing-in position of the lock lever 6 for immersing an upper locking claw 12 connected to a vertical pipe by a pair of engaging parts 7. The engaging parts 7 are formed of a locking recessed part 19 arranged on the lower edge of a locking hole 5 and a cutout part 20 arranged in a position facing just above the locking recessed part in a state of immersing the upper locking claw 12 in a joint pipe 2 by pushing in the lock lever 6 on both side edges of an operation piece 23 of the lock lever 6. The rear edge of both cutout parts 20 forms the rear abutting edge 25 for holding a pushing-in state by abutting on the inner surface side of the joint pipe 2, and the tip edge forms the front abutting edge 26 for preventing excessive pushing-in by abutting on the outside surface side of the joint pipe 2.
