GARMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garment where knitted structure parts causing strong wearing pressure to give powerful trimming effect on the hip part of a wearer are properly placed so as to just push the hip part upward without biting into the hip part when worn, not to cause unnatural unevenness, and make the hip part and its periphery to be formed into a trimmed shape having a natural and unstrained curved surface. SOLUTION: The garment is structured as follows: the upper end part of a first knitted structure 11 arranged at a position corresponding to the periphery of the hip part and causing strong wearing pressure is set apart from an opening elastic part 17 formed at the upper side of a girdle and having strong wearing pressure so as to improve flexibility in movement of the part of the first knitted structure 11 with respect to the other parts of the girdle. Such a structure results in that the part of the first knitted structure 11 slightly shifts from side to side and up and down corresponding to the degree of fleshiness of the hip part when worn to soften the tightness to the hip part and prevent the first knitted structure 11 from biting into the periphery of the hip part caused by excessive tightness to the periphery of the hip part, and suppress unevenness formed at the hip part to realize hip-up effect with smooth hip-part appearance.
