Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ethylene polymer excellent in moldability and fluidity and excellent in also mechanical strengths, to provide a thermoplastic resin composition containing the polymer, and to provide a molding, desirably a film, obtained from the resin composition. SOLUTION: The ethylene polymer is a copolymer of ethylene with a 4 to 10C α-olefin and satisfies all of the requirements (I) to (IV): (I) the MFR at 190°C under a load of 2.16 kg is in the range of 0.1 to 100 g/10 min, (II) the density (d) is in the range of 875 to 970 kg/m3, (III) the sum [(A+B) (/1,000C)] (wherein A (/1,000C) is the number of methyl branchings per 1,000 carbon atoms as measured by13C-NMR, and B (/1,000C) is the number of ethyl branchings per 1,000 carbon atoms) as measured by13C-NMR is 1.8 or smaller, and (IV) the relationships (Eq-1): 0.80×10-4×Mw0.776≤[η]≤1.65×10-4×Mw0.776holds (wherein [η] (dl/g) is an intrinsic viscosity as measured in decalin at 135°C and (Mw) is the weight-average molecular weight as measured by a GPC-viscosity detector method).
