IR-TRANSMISSIBLE THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION AND MOLDED PRODUCT USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IR-transmissible thermoplastic resin composition excellent in IR transmissibility, alcohol resistance, gloss and hardness, and a molded product using it. SOLUTION: The IR-transmissible thermoplastic resin composition contains [A] at least one resin component selected from a (rubber-reinforced) acrylic resin (A1) and a (rubber-reinforced) styrene resin (A2) and [B] a colorant. The content of the colorant [B] is 0.005-3 parts by mass when the resin component [A] is 100 parts by mass. The light transmittance of each wavelength between 400-700 nm through a 3 mm-thick molded body consisting of the composition are ≤20% in any wavelength and the light transmittance of any one of wavelengths between 800-1,000 nm is ≥50%.
