METHOD FOR PRODUCING CYCLOHEXANONE OXIME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing cyclohexanone oxime having excellent thermal stability by an ammoximation reaction of cyclohexanone. SOLUTION: A process is composed of a reaction step of carrying out the ammoximation reaction of the cyclohexanone, a first distillation step of distilling off residual ammonia from a reaction solution and obtaining a cyclohexanone oxime/water mixture liquid, an extraction step of extracting the cyclohexanone oxime from the cyclohexanone oxime/water mixture liquid with an organic solvent, a washing step of washing the cyclohexanone oxime extract liquid with water, a second distillation step of distilling off the organic solvent from the cyclohexanone oxime extract liquid after washing and obtaining crude cyclohexanone oxime and a third distillation step of distilling off the residual cyclohexanone from the crude cyclohexanone oxime and affording the purified cyclohexanone oxime. A boron oxide or a phosphorus oxide, an oxo acid of the boron or phosphorus or a salt, an ester or an amide of the oxo acid is added to the water for washing or the extract liquid after the washing.
