Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a plasma display panel capable of easily cladding a phosphor to an inner surface of a partition wall part of a metal partition wall. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method for the plasma display panel, a front surface substrate 12 wherein a first electrode 14 is formed on an inner surface 12a and a rear surface substrate 20 wherein a second electrode 22 is formed on an inner surface 20a are arranged facing each other so that the first electrode 14 and the second electrode 22 intersect, the intersection part of the first electrode 14 and the second electrode 22 is enclosed with the partition wall part of the metal partition wall 26 formed by providing an insulation coating 32 on a surface of a metal plate 30 having a through hole 28 to form a discharge cell 34 and the phosphor 36 is cladded to the inner surface of the partition wall part of the metal partition wall 26 enclosing the discharge cell 34. The metal plate 30 constituting the metal partition wall 26 is made of a ferromagnetic material. A phosphor dispersion liquid is applied to the inner surface of the partition wall part of the metal partition wall 26 from above the metal partition wall 26 in a state that the metal partition wall 26 is mounted on and fixed to a magnet body 42, then, the phosphor dispersion liquid is baked.
