PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector 10 which can ensure sufficient contact pressure and provides stable connection without deformation of a contact 14. SOLUTION: In the connector including a contact portion 36 contacting with an object to be connected on its one end; a connection portion 38 connected with a substrate or the like on the other end; a fixed portion 40 aligned and held in a housing 12 between the contact portion 36 and the connection portion 38; a plurality of contacts 14 held by the contact portion 36 so that they are displaceable round the fixed portion as a fulcrum like a cantilever beam; and a housing 12 in which the contacts 14 are aligned and held, when the thickness of the housing 12 at the part where the contact portion 36 of the contact 14 is displaced is 0.6-0.7 mm, a projection portion 20 is provided in the housing 12 and a hole 22 is provided in the projection portion 20 so that the contact portion 36 is displaceable.
