REMOTE MONITORING DEVICE AND SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote monitoring device and a remote monitoring system capable of coping with variation of load in processing information, even in a situation where the information relating to a monitored object can not be obtained. SOLUTION: A remote monitoring center for monitoring equipment items 11 or the like mounted in objects such as a plurality of buildings 1, comprises a communicating portion 60 and a control portion 50. The communicating portion 60 receives equipment information relating to the equipment items 11 or the like. The control portion 50 selectively implements the processing of equipment information with ordinary processing capacity or load abnormality processing capacity capable of coping with processing load higher than the ordinary processing capacity. The control portion 50 implements the processing by selecting the load abnormality processing capacity when the reception of equipment information in the communicating portion 60 is in a state that the reception of equipment information in the communicating portion 60 is interrupted for a prescribed time and/or the reception for the prescribed time does not satisfy prescribed frequency.
