DATA LOGGER DEVICE AND ITS DATA COLLECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data logger device for collecting changing data, without omission, on a monitoring object to display accumulated information on a data terminal device in units of processing cycle time, and to provide its data collection method. SOLUTION: This data logger device includes a processor for collecting data from the monitoring object 20 and a storage medium 18 for storing therein collected data at times of prescribed processing cycles. The processor comprises a time management means 14 for generating absolute time and a processing number count means 16 for counting the cycle units of processing cycles. In storing data in the storage medium 18, the changing data on the monitoring object 20 can be collected together with the data without omission, by using time at which data are stored, not as absolute time clocked by the management means 14, but using indices including count values counted by the count means 16 as time units.
