ABNORMALITY DETECTION DEVICE OF BEARING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detection device of a bearing that can discriminate between an AE signal and a noise component caused by an abnormality of the bearing and can accurately detect the abnormality of the bearing. SOLUTION: The abnormality detection device of the bearing detects the abnormality of the bearing, based on the AE signal output by an AE sensor 1 for detecting acoustic emission from the bearing (not shown). The abnormality detection device comprises a frequency discrimination means 3 for discriminating the frequency component in a predetermined range of the AE signal; a detection means 4 for detecting the discriminated signal; a comparing means 5 for comparing the level of the detected signal with a threshold; a duration calculating means 7 for calculating the duration of the detection signal since the signal level becomes larger in the comparison result until the signal level becomes smaller; and a rise time calculating means 9 for calculating the rise time since the signal level becomes larger in the comparison result until the signal level becomes maximum.
