Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure diagnostic system for diagnosing whether something is wrong with an engine-cooling water temperature-sensor or a heat-storage-tank outlet temperature-sensor. SOLUTION: An engine ECU executes a program comprising steps (S108), (S110), and (S120). In the step (S108), if temperature THW (1) in engine-cooling water before supplying the cooling-water from the heat-storage tank to the engine is lower than temperature THW (2) at heat-storage tank water (YES in S106), the temperature THW (3) in the engine-cooling water after supply of the cooling-water from the heat-storage tank to the engine is estimated. In the step (S110), the temperature THW (4) in the engine-cooling water is sensed. In the step (S120), if the detected temperature THW (4) in the engine-cooling water is higher than the estimated temperature THW (3) in the engine-cooling water (YES in S112), at least either one of the temperature sensor for the engine-cooling water and the outlet temperature sensor for the heat-storage tank is determined to be abnormal.
