Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high throughput evaluation method by which the physiologically active functions of a material can safely, efficiently and highly reliably be evaluated over multiple and many items, to provide an apparatus, and to provide a program. SOLUTION: A functionality-unknown material, such as a food material component, is mixed with human-originated culture cells to obtain a cell extract corresponding to the food material as a test sample. The test sample is subjected to an evaluation system equipped with measurement sites having different function-evaluation abilities. In the evaluation test, the expression quantities of biomarkers corresponding to antibodies are measured by immunoassays based on antigen-antibody reactions. The obtained expression quantities of the biomarkers are compared with the biomarker expression quantities of functionality-known samples or are subjected to the estimation of the functionalities through a computer program on the basis of functional values corresponding to the biomarker expression quantities of functionality-known samples.
