THIN FILM MAGNETIC HEAD, AND MAGNETIC DISK APPARATUS USING THE THIN FILM MAGNETIC HEAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact thin film magnetic head in which the number of terminals can be increased, and a magnetic disk apparatus using the thin film magnetic head. SOLUTION: The thin film magnetic head has a magnetic response element, a plurality of connection object terminals 40, a plurality of lead conductors 41 connected electrically to the magnetic response element, and a plurality of connection parts 42 formed between each of the connection object terminals 40 and one of the plurality of lead conductors 41 and connecting electrically each of the connection object terminals 40 and one of the plurality of lead conductors 41, wherein all the plurality of lead conductors 41 are extended to a lower layer of each of the plurality of connection object terminals 40 from the magnetic response element.
