Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for subjecting tap water having passed through a water purification plant to advanced water treatment so as to change it to a good-quality active mineral water. SOLUTION: The bamboo charcoal-ceramic composite material having excellent properties is obtained by kneading 15-60 wt% of bamboo-charcoal granules to a dry bentonite powder as a raw material for a ceramic using an aqueous 2- and 3-valence iron salt solution as a binder, subjecting the resulting mixture to the steps of aging, shaping, and drying, and sintering the resulting preform at 850-950°C for 2-3 hours in a furnace with a carbon dioxide atmosphere.
