Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical discharge machining electrode for efficiently carrying out machining by performing continuous machining from roughing to finishing without replacing the electrode when the electrical discharge machining of a structure is carried out in machining liquid such as water by remote control, and by discharging machining chips produced between the electrical discharge machining electrode and a workpiece during the electrical discharge machining. SOLUTION: The electrical discharge machining electrode includes a cylindrical electrode body 2 with one end in an axial direction serving as a machined end 3, and with the other end serving as a device connection end 4. A rough machined part 5 and a finish machined part 6 are formed in sequence from the machined end side to the device connection end side on an outer peripheral face of the electrode body 2. Continuous machining chip guide grooves 10a-10h are formed on the outer peripheral faces of the rough machined part and the finish machined part. The machining chip guide grooves are linearly and spirally formed, and machining liquid jet openings 9a-9i are provided on a position shifted from the center of an end face of the machined end.
