Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a failure recovery method for shortening dispatch time in which a service person arrives a field when a failure occurs. SOLUTION: In a service personnel information support system having a device for a service center 11 for supporting maintenance work of a service personnel performing a maintenance service to site-installed equipment 31 installed in a maintenance site, the device 11 has an electronic manual database 12 storing work procedure document content information, and when receiving a failure notice from the equipment 31, it retrieves a work procedure, analyses the failure, predicts the cause, and transmits the analysis result information and the content information acquired through the retrieval to a set-in-field personal computer 32 at the maintenance field.
