COLORING COMPOSITION FOR COLOR FILTER, AND COLOR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coloring composition for a color filter of red color, magenta color or yellow color coexisting with maintenance of physical properties such as high sensitivity, dispersion stability, patterning, and chemical resistance, and also to provide the color filter formed by using the coloring composition. SOLUTION: The coloring composition of the red color, the magenta color or the yellow color contains a photosensitive transparent resin, a non-photosensitive transparent resin, a multi-functional monomer having three or more ethylene unsaturated double bonds, and the red color, the magenta color or the yellow color. In the coloring composition of the red color, the magenta color or the yellow color, weight mol density of the ethylene unsaturated doubling connection is 1.0×10-3mol/g to 4.0×10-3mol/g by regarding the total weight of the photosensitive transparent resin, the non-photosensitive transparent resin and the multi-functional monomer as a reference.
