Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass block wall surface structure which dispenses with a wide working space and a crane at the time of construction, facilitates change of its construction method from a wet construction method to a dry construction method and vice versa, has only a small wall surface bearing structure, and does not raise a sense of discomfort even if the glass wall surface structures are sequentially piled up, and to provide a method of constructing the glass block wall surface structure. SOLUTION: The wall surface structure is formed of bead portions 2b, 4b which are protruded from an opening 1a of a skeleton 1 in parallel with each other, upper and lower anchor members 5, 6 which each have a fitting portion fitted into a gap between the bead portions, and a substrate bearing the glass block 10, muntins 7 and vertical force ribs 8 engaging with the anchor members 5, 6, and horizontal force ribs 9 inserted into insertion portions 7c, 8c of the muntins 7 and the vertical force ribs 8, respectively, to fasten the same. The method of constructing the wall surface structure is comprised of a step of forming the bead portions 2b, 4b along the opening 1a, a step of forming a frame 15 by connecting the anchor members 5, 6 to the muntins 7 and the vertical force ribs 8, a step of securing the anchor members 5, 6 to the gaps between the bead portions, a step of attaching a joint gasket 11 into a gap between the glass blocks 10, and a step of piling up the glass block 10 in each vertical space 15a of the frame 15 and fastening the muntins 7, 7 by the horizontal force ribs 9.
