Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new oxazolidone resin excellent in heat resistance, adhesivity, insulation properties, flexibility and preservation stability, a method for efficiently producing the same and an insulative varnish and an electric insulative wire made by using such oxazolidone resin. SOLUTION: This polyoxazolidone resin is obtained by reacting an alkylcarbamate compound (a) of a polyisocyanate having 3-4 pieces of a group expressed by -NHCOOB (B denotes 1-12C monovalent hydrocarbon group) and a diepoxy compound (b), and the resin has recurring units expressed by formula (1), wherein R1denotes a 2-60C organic group composed of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen; R2denotes a 2-30C hydrocarbon group composed of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen; and R3denotes hydrogen or a 1-6C hydrocarbon group.
