STEP ELIMINATION DEVICE FOR WHEEL CHAIR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step elimination device for a wheel chair enhancing convenience by enabling an elevator calling/access. SOLUTION: The step elimination device for the wheel chair comprises a placement base 2 mountable with the wheel chair; a lifting mechanism 4 for lifting the placement base 2 between heights of the lowermost floor surface and the uppermost floor surface of a small stair formed near a place where the elevator 3 is installed; a lifting control part 5 for controlling lifting action of the lifting mechanism 4; an operation means 6 for giving ascending instruction or descending instruction to the lifting control part 5; and an interlocking control means 7 provided with a calling/access operation instruction generation part 8 for transmitting calling/access operation instruction for calling/accessing the elevator 3 at the uppermost floor of the small stair to the elevator 3 at least interlocking with ascending action of the placement base 2 in such a state that the placement base 2 is positioned at the lowermost floor surface side of the small stair.
