EQUALIZER UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an "equalizer unit" contributed to reduction of complexity and simplification of setting relating to adjustment of all frequency bands by performing detailed adjustment only on a desired frequency band in adjusting frequency characteristics of audio signals. SOLUTION: The equalizer unit comprises: two kinds of equalizers 12G and 12P for inputting audio signals AS; operating sections 15 and 17; a display section 18 for displaying on a screen information relating to adjustment of a relevant equalizer set into an adjusting mode by the operating sections 15 and 17; and a memory 19 storing information in which either of the graphic equalizer 12G and the parametric equalizer 12P to be used is assigned for each of frequency bands set within reproduction frequency bands of the audio signals AS. A control section 11 refers to the information stored in the memory 19 to selectively function the two kinds of equalizers 12G and 12P for each of frequency bands of input audio signals.
