Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tsunami detection device allowing an accurate guess of a tsunami height or arrival time of a tsunami at a coast without requiring a time in detection, and to provide a tsunami alarm system by the device. SOLUTION: This tsunami detection device measures flow velocity values of undersea multiple layers in real time by use of flow velocity meters, and detects the tsunami from a flow velocity distribution, the flow velocity values or combination of them. The tsunami alarm system raising a tsunami alarm is constructed by adding a detection function by a wave direction meter or a wave height meter to the device, and using information obtained therefrom.
