PORTABLE TERMINAL, ELECTRONIC MAIL TRANSMISSION METHOD, ELECTRONIC MAIL TRANSMISSION PROGRAM, AND COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal which makes a notification so that an untransmitted electronic mail may be transmitted without fail. SOLUTION: The portable terminal is driven by a battery 8 and transmits an electronic mail. In addition, the portable terminal is provided with; a battery residual capacity detection part 36 which detects a residual capacity of a battery 8; an untransmitted mail determination part 33 which determines whether there exists an untransmitted electronic mail; and a notification control part 35 which operates a notification part 5 to notify that there exists an untransmitted electronic mail when the residual capacity of the battery 8 is below a prescribed capacity and when there is an untransmitted electronic mail.
