DIMENSION MEASURING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dimension measuring system in which a portable measuring part is used even in locations where wireless communication is disabled. SOLUTION: The dimension measuring system is provided with: portable dimension measuring devices 16-1 to 16-4 having terminal wireless devices 42, dimension measuring parts 21 for generating dimension measurement values, and displays 24 for displaying dimension measurement values; and a base device 10 having a base wireless device 35. The portable dimension measuring devices are a dimension measuring system for transmitting created dimension measurement values to the base device 10 and provided with a wireless communication condition detection circuit for detecting whether the terminal wireless devices communicate with the base wireless device. When communication is in a disabled condition, the action of transmitting dimension measurement values to the base device is automatically halted, and dimension measurement values are displayed on the displays. When communication is in an enabled condition, the action of transmitting created dimension measurement values to the base device is automatically restarted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
