SAMPLE STABILIZATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stabilizing samples containing HDL (High-density lipoprotein). SOLUTION: The method for stabilizing oxidized HDL by adding a compound expressed by Formula (I) (wherein, X1-X3, Y, and Z are independently a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl group, a carboxyl group, or a sugar residue) to a sample to stabilize the degree of oxidation of oxidized HDL in the sample is provided. A sample containing oxidized DHL stabilized by the method; a storage method of samples containing oxidized HDL for storing them as samples stabilized by the method when samples containing oxidized HDL are stored; and an immunoassay method of oxidized HDL using samples containing oxidized HDL stabilized by the method as samples are provided.
