METHOD AND TOOL FOR EVALUATING DERMAL PIGMENTATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and tool for evaluating the degree of dermal pigmentation easily and properly on a quantitative basis with an objective parameter. SOLUTION: By checking a skin pigmented region against a plurality of color samples each different in brightness at least, a color sample most similar in color to the skin pigmented region is selected, and the brightness of the selected color sample is made the value in regard to the skin pigmented region in this dermal pigmentation evaluating method. This dermal pigmentation evaluating tool uses a color sample indicator displaying a plurality of differently-colored samples which are the same in color phase and saturation but different in brightness, along with written signs marking each brightness.
