STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS MODEL PREPARATION SYSTEM OF BODY PANEL FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically and accurately prepare a structural analysis model divided with meshes having substantially uniform shapes and sizes based on CAD data of a structural analysis object. SOLUTION: The structural analysis model preparation system comprises a continuous face detection means 9 for detecting a narrow width section continuous face continuing in at least the width direction of a plurality of narrow width sections based on the CAD data, a partition line elimination means 10 for detecting a partition line extending in the longitudinal direction of the narrow width sections in the narrow width section continuous face and eliminating the data, a shape data storage means 11 for storing the shape data of the narrow width section continuous face remaining from the elimination of the partition line of the narrow width sections, and a mesh data preparing means 12 for preparing mesh data by dividing the narrow width section continuous face based on the shape data of the narrow width section continuous face stored in the shape data storage means 11.
