Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping force generating valve structure of a hydraulic shock absorber which can be simply built in without being accompanied by displacement, between each member when being built in a piston rod, particularly between the centers of portions to stack a plurality of leaf valves. SOLUTION: There is provided the damping force generating valve structure of the hydraulic shock absorber in which in an in-low portion 2 of the piston rod 1, a pressurized-side damping force generating valve 5, a piston 6 equipped with a pressurized-side and extending-side ports 6a, 6b, and an extending-side damping force generating valve 7 are sequentially stacked through mounting holes formed in each of the central portions and besides a nut 10 is screwed into the in-low portion from an upper side of the extending-side damping force generating valve 7, thus fixing each of the above members between the nut and a basial portion 2a of the in-low portion. A tubular guide member 11 inserted into the in-low portion 2 is intervened between the extending-side damping force generating valve 7 and the in-low portion 2. Then, the guide member is provided with a radial movement regulating member for regulating the radial movement of the plurality of the sheets of the leaf valves that make up the extending-side damping force generating valve and an up-and-down movement regulating member for regulating the up-and-down movement.
