SWING SWASH PLATE TYPE VARIABLE DISPLACEMENT COMPRESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swing swash plate type variable displacement compressor of small size and good balance, easy to manufacture and assemble, and effective especially for a large displacement compressor. SOLUTION: A detent mechanism 68 for preventing rotation of a wobble plate 19 includes an inner ring 74, and is supported by a center axis 32 fixed on a cylinder block 4 which is a part of a housing. The detent mechanism 63 can be moved in an axial direction by making an inner ring movable with regulating rotation thereof around the center axis. A constant velocity joint 68 is used as the detent mechanism. The detent mechanism is arranged in a front side position of the wobble plate 19 on the center axis, and a minimum displacement regulation part regulating movement of the inner ring in an axial direction is provided on the center axis.
