Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the problem, wherein even the thickness of a stator core is decreased following decreasing of the thickness of a rotor, when making a DC brushless electric motor with a permanent magnet stored in the rotor, moreover, the width of a slot is widened, to further increase deformation of a stator due to welding heat of the stator core, when making the electric motor of concentrated winding type, with a stator winding directly wound to a magnetic pole tooth, consequently, the expected performance of the electric motor not being obtained. SOLUTION: In the closed-type motor driven compressor of the electric motor comprises the stator, constituted by the stator core with a plurality of sheets of stator steel plates laminated and the stator winding of concentrated winding type directly, wound on the magnetic pole tooth of this stator core via an insulating material by passing slots in both sides of the magnetic pole tooth, and the rotor supported freely rotatable with a crankshaft serving as the center in an inner side of the stator. Of the circumferential wall of the stator core, in the part positioned on almost the center line of the magnetic pole tooth, the laminated stator steel plates are welded to each other by argon welding or arc welding.
