IMAGE CONFIRMATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a photographer to instruct finishing while the finish of reproduction is confirmed on a monitor when digital image data are reproduced as photographic prints or images displayed on CRT. SOLUTION: Image data, obtained by an image taking means 101 in a digital camera 1, are displayed by a display confirmation means 102, a finish-setting means 103 accepts finish conditions set by the photographer based on the displayed image, and the display confirmation means 102 again displays an image reflecting the set contents. Finish information, finally determined with repetition of setting and re-display, is attached to the image data by a finish information attaching means 104 and is transferred to a laboratory system 2 via a cable interface or media. An image processing means 302 in the laboratory system 2 processes the image data based on the finish information, then reproduces it as photographic prints. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
