INSPECTION APPARATUS AND METHOD THEREFOR, AND PROGRAM AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide accurate and quick inspection of apparatuses. SOLUTION: PC2 inspects whether an image is correctly displayed on a display unit 11 of a digital still camera 1. PC2 supplies data, equivalent to that obtained when an operation section 12 is operated, to the digital still camera 1. In response to the supplied data, the digital still camera 1 supplies to PC2 image data of an image to be displayed on the display unit 11. PC2 has an image which should be normally displayed on the display unit 11 stored, and compares the image with the image based on the supplied image data to determine whether there is a difference in-between. When there is a difference, an inspector is informed of the difference as a failure. The apparatus and the method can be applied to a inspection apparatus for inspecting a problem with a predetermined apparatus. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
