PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more reliable optical disk, a device for driving the same, and an optical disk driving method for stably applying a voltage to a selected recording layer, in the optical disk provided with the plurality of recording layers, the device for driving the same, and the optical disk driving method. SOLUTION: The optical disk is provided with the plurality of recording layers, a power supply circuit for outputting the constant voltage having a prescribed level during the rotational driving of the optical disk, a setting circuit for setting the output voltage of the power supply circuit, and a supply circuit for supplying the output voltage to the desired recording layer of the plurality of recording layers. Accordingly, because the control for selecting the recording layer can be performed without contact to the outside, the more reliable optical disk, the device for driving the same, and the optical disk driving method can be obtained.
