Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter for a display device, which is formed by an ink-jet method and has high brightness (transmissivity), even when it is used in a reflection-type display device and the saturation of which will not be lowered, and to provide the reflection-type bright display device. SOLUTION: This color filter for the display device is provided with at the least a transparent substrate; matrix-form light-shielding layers formed on the transparent substrate; and colored layer pixels, each of which is formed between the adjacent matrix-form light-shielding layers by the ink-jet method. Each of colored layer pixels is formed, by combining two or more primary colors of cyan, magenta and yellow being subtractive primary colors. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
