PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for device management capable of managing a plurality of devices, without its email reception capacity being exceeded by a number of emails; a device management method; and a device management system. SOLUTION: The device management apparatus 2 for managing a plurality of devices has a mail transmitting part 7. The mail transmitting part 7 waits for a predetermined time waiting for transmission from the time when a failure in the device 4 occurs.
