HYDROGEN PRODUCING METHOD, HYDROGEN PRODUCING REACTOR, HYDROGEN PRODUCING APPARATUS AND FUEL CELL POWER-GENERATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain hydrogen fuel for a fuel cell by decomposing a gaseous material of a hydrogen-containing compound in a simple and cheap method. SOLUTION: The inventive hydrogen producing apparatus 10 is provided with a reactor 1 and a microwave generating device 3, wherein the reactor 1 has an introducing port 1A for injecting a gaseous material 7 of a hydrogen-containing compound and an exhausting port 1B for exhausting hydrogen 9 that is a decomposed material, and has such a construction that its interior is packed with a plurality of graphite fiber chips 2, whereby by injecting the gaseous material 7 of a hydrogen-containing compound into the interior of the reactor 1, by instantaneously raising the temperature of the graphite fiber chips 2 in the reactor 1 by irradiating a microwave 8, and by thermally decomposing the gaseous material in the interior to liberate hydrogen 9, the hydrogen can be taken out as a fuel.
