SOLUTION: This elevator controller comprises a control panel 2 performing the operational control of the elevator, the fingerprint reading part 5 installed in the car or on the landing of the elevator and authenticating a user by outputting the read fingerprint to the control panel, and an ultraviolet radiation device 7 radiating ultraviolet ray to the fingerprint reading part when the elevator is determined to be not in use by the control panel.
