Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device for a vehicle requiring no change of a unit control device relative to change of an equipment article of the vehicle, facilitating addition and change of the equipment article and capable of reducing load of CPU. SOLUTION: A power train ECU is constituted of a vehicle control part 1 for performing control of function depending on equipment of the vehicle; and ENG/ECT unit control part 2 for performing control of a power train unit. A mediation/cooperation control part 30, i.e., software of the vehicle control part 1 calculates an instruction value to the ENG/ECT unit control part 2 according to requirement and a consumption amount of equipment of the vehicle such as power source management, gate way (G/W), diagnosis, ACC, ECO and IPA. Further, the unit control part 2 performs control of a unit such as an engine and a transmission by a physical amount inputted from the vehicle control part 1, for example, target torque and target engine rotation.
