Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of an inkjet recording material, which can continuously and stably coat a void type ink receptive layer on a support over a long period of time. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the inkjet recording material for coating an ink receptive layer mainly containing fine inorganic particles on a support as the topmost layer with a sliding hopper type coating device, an aqueous solution containing a water-soluble polymer or a water-soluble polyhydric alcohol is supplied by the flow rate per one side of not more than 10 ml/min on the sliding surface of the sliding hopper type coating device just after the starting of the flowing-down of the coating liquid of the topmost layer or at both the widthwise ends on the upstream side upper than on the sliding surface.
